80-20 rule

The ‘80-20 rule‘ (also known as the ‘Pareto principle’) states that…
roughly 80% of effects come from 20% of causes.

Vilfredo Pareto developed the principle after observing that…
20% of the pea pods in his garden contained 80% of the peas!

Similarly… only 20% of your efforts produce 80% of your results….. or to put it another way, you can waste 80% of your time (and money) achieving only 20% of your results!

First… free up time by identifying and stop wasting time doing the low-impact (80%) activities that produce only 20% of your results.

Then… do more of the high-impact (20%) activities that produce 80% of your results.

By doubling your ‘20%’ high-impact activities it’s possible to increase your results by another 80%… that’s 160% of your previous results with only 40% of the effort!
